Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the TSSTA Student Membership, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a recognized academic institution and pursuing at least an undergraduate degree (ND, B.Sc., B.Eng., B.Tech., or equivalent).
  • Alternatively, individuals engaged in approved research activities (e.g., final-year projects, lab research, internships, or thesis work) are eligible to apply.
  • Open to students from any academic discipline, including but not limited to science, engineering, agriculture, technology, medicine, education, and environmental studies.

Validity of Membership

  • The TSSTA Student Membership is valid for a period of five (5) years from the date of approval.
  • Membership can be renewed, upgraded to professional status, or converted to fellow status upon completion of academic studies and upon meeting relevant criteria.
